If you were born in the 1960’s you will probably remember many of these 1970
classic toys.

View Master Toy 1970 View Master Slides. View Master was created back in 1938 by Harold J. Graves and William B. Gruber. The View Master has been owned by many companies in it’s long history. The companies were Ideal, Tyco, Mattel, and Fisher Price.
Lego 1970 LEGO Building Toy. This toy is still a popular one for many kids and even adults. I remember playing with my LEGO set for hours and hours. My brother always built better things than I did, but we had fun with Lego.
Sears Mixer Toy 1970’s Sears Toy Mixer. A classic toy that girls would use when playing house. I recall my cousins having this classic toy from Sears. There were many toys that Sears sold that we bought. My parents were loyal Sears customers.
Tonka Toys 1972 Tonka Aerial Ladder. I owned this fire truck and it had so many
working features. Tonka is well known today as a rugged, and life like. You can still purchase Tonka toys today, but there made much different than the classic ones.
Mr Potato Head 1972 Mr. Potato Head w/plastic head. Who didn’t have a Mr. Potato Head? I had many and even Ms. Potato Head. You can still purchase this toy today. Mr. Potato Head has come a long way. I even bought one when I was 40 to put on my desk at my office. It was a cool item that many people would play with when I had meetings.
1970’s Milton Bradley’s Simon says. The most annoying of all the brain teaser games that came out in the 70’s. You had to remember the sequence of the lights and it would get harder each round. I got really mad one day and broke this game within 2 Months of purchasing it.
1973 Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle. The greatest thrill seeker of all time! I remember watching Evel on Wide World of Sports. I witnessed the Caesar’s Palace jump, Snake River Canyon jump and so much more. I was a huge fan of Evel Knievel, and of course needed to have this classic toy.
Big Wheel 1970’s BIG WHEEL by Marx! I remember this one as I had 2 of them when I was young. All kids learned that if you got up enough speed, and sort of went into a slight turn, you would spin out. It was a blast, but really was hard to get any traction with the plastic front wheel.
