Google Adsenseless

Google Adsense

I have been a publisher for Google Adsense for more than 6 Months and I have not received a check, nothing! My current account ($96.03) is close to the magic number $100. The thing that disturbs me is the same 6 or so ads keep displaying. I can’t figure that out and I am not about to try.

Adsense is well known and used by many web site owners that are trying to monetize their web site. I have heard of a few success stories about individuals who are making major bank with Google, but these are few and far between.

Is it worth the space of a 468×60 banner? I am thinking it’s not, and maybe that real estate can be used more sensible. I have searched and tested many advert programs and have not found one that hit a home run or even close. To see a list of advert web sites that I tested, click on the link below.

I am currently testing OpenX. This company provides adserver technology.

You have to keep trying to find that goose that laid the golden egg. I just wish it would call out to me to make things much easier.

Yeah, I have made some money off of adsense, but definitely nothing to brag about. Hopefully you will find something soon that can help!

I dont even Make half of what you made in 6 months. What am i doing wrong. Could it be that our sources of traffic are too sophisticated?
Digg users are too Clever to click through an ad on your blog. Entrecarders will not look beyond your widget, clicking ads remains a mystery to them. Stumblers will hardly wait around for your page to load. They bounce of so fast, NASA recently commissioned some scientists to calculate their escape velocity (could come in handy when we need to leave Mars.)
I think Organic traffic from search engines is the answer.

    Alfred,

NASA might not be the answer. It has to do with some highly scientific method.

    My Daily,

Welcome and thank you for the comment.

i see in my Yahoo stats that visitors click AdSense 2-3 times a day. But I do not see these clicks in my AdSense report. Really AdSenseless…
By the way I came here by Entrecard

Hm..I currently got $1 - $3 a day from AdSense, which is great. I’m so close to my first $100 check..

Like everyone said, it’s the organic/search engine traffics that convert to $$.

Being a techie blog makes it harder, as our audience are tech-savvy users, which are known not to click on ads :D

Wish I can get like $100 a day like other successful bloggers, though

you see there is a system you have to figure out… a formula we’ll say… do a little bit of keyword research. by using this tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox) and mess around with different keywords..(one you usually don’t write about like hybrid cars or rough mortgages) you’ll see roughly how much it is price wise per keyword with out even logging into an Adwords account… now with the keyword research via the “Google” Adwords tool you can now use the knowledge of the keyword prices to get paid higher per click via “Google” Adsense by writing blog post that pay more money… it’s like taking bacon and feeding it to pigs.. that simple..

You may want to read my article on AdBrite… seems like something that would work well for you. Call it a shameless plug if you want, but I think you’d be happy with it. Key point: $5 minimum payout, not $100. It’s on the first page of my blog, which I’ve linked here.
