A funny video on how a job interview should go without all the BS.
I am sure he didn’t get the job, but he was honest throughout.
If you were born in the 1960’s you will probably remember many of these 1970
classic toys.

1970 View Master Slides. View Master was created back in 1938 by Harold J. Graves and William B. Gruber. The View Master has been owned by many companies in it’s long history. The companies were Ideal, Tyco, Mattel, and Fisher Price. |

1970 LEGO Building Toy. This toy is still a popular one for many kids and even adults. I remember playing with my LEGO set for hours and hours. My brother always built better things than I did, but we had fun with Lego. |

1970’s Sears Toy Mixer. A classic toy that girls would use when playing house. I recall my cousins having this classic toy from Sears. There were many toys that Sears sold that we bought. My parents were loyal Sears customers. |

1972 Tonka Aerial Ladder. I owned this fire truck and it had so many working features. Tonka is well known today as a rugged, and life like. You can still purchase Tonka toys today, but there made much different than the classic ones. |

1972 Mr. Potato Head w/plastic head. Who didn’t have a Mr. Potato Head? I had many and even Ms. Potato Head. You can still purchase this toy today. Mr. Potato Head has come a long way. I even bought one when I was 40 to put on my desk at my office. It was a cool item that many people would play with when I had meetings. |

1970’s Milton Bradley’s Simon says. The most annoying of all the brain teaser games that came out in the 70’s. You had to remember the sequence of the lights and it would get harder each round. I got really mad one day and broke this game within 2 Months of purchasing it. |

1973 Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle. The greatest thrill seeker of all time! I remember watching Evel on Wide World of Sports. I witnessed the Caesar’s Palace jump, Snake River Canyon jump and so much more. I was a huge fan of Evel Knievel, and of course needed to have this classic toy. |

1970’s BIG WHEEL by Marx! I remember this one as I had 2 of them when I was young. All kids learned that if you got up enough speed, and sort of went into a slight turn, you would spin out. It was a blast, but really was hard to get any traction with the plastic front wheel. |
We made it in the Chicago Tribune! It’s a small story, but it’s a great start and accomplishment. We look forward to the feedback from many of our fans and new visitors.

Got you!
You have been fooled by Get Clippings. A fun web site where you can create fake newspaper headlines to fool your friends.
Craigslist is a very well known web site that provides a lot of information. The problem with Craigslist is the forums. They’re over moderated and the regulars are a bunch of assholes.

The forum groupies can barely write a sentence or even spell. I categorize the regulars as lower middle class and barely have a high school diploma. It’s truly amazing that this site is so highly ranked. I guess it’s because the web site has history, and it has nothing to do with the quality or technology.
To the forum trolls at Craigslist
1. Get off the crack
2. Get a life
3. Get out and get some
4. Move out of your mother’s house and grow up
5. Windows 95 is no longer the latest and greatest
6. Your dog doesn’t talk
7. You look fat in those pants because you’re fat
8. It’s not OK to French kiss your sister
9. Stop stealing your dad’s porn
10. Remember not to wear the sock you jacked off in the next day
I’ve been on a rant lately, because I like to speak my mind.
My 2 1/2 cents!
The new Speed Racer movie will be in theaters May 9th 2008. I was a huge fan of Speed Racer when I was a young boy back in the 60’s. Do you remember the steering wheel? Do you remember what each button was for?
The Mach 5 Steering Wheel:

Button A (Auto Jacks): “Releases powerful jacks to boost the car so anyone can quickly make any necessary repairs or adjustments.” Although it was used for short jumps at high speeds. The “choink choink” sound effect played whenever the car jumped through the air was a well known sound remembered by fans.
Button B (Belt Tires): Toggles special grip tires for traction over rough terrain (firm, icy, or unsteady ground, ocean floor, vertical mountainsides etc.).
Button C (Cutters): For use traveling over heavily wooded terrain. A matched pair of powerful rotary saws would come out from the front of the Mach 5 to cut away many obstacles.
Button D (Deflector): Releases a powerful transparent cover which seals the cockpit into an air-tight chamber. The cover is bullet- and crash-proof. The cockpit becomes a water-tight chamber which then allows the car to be completely submerged under water.
Button E (”Evening Eye”): Controls special illumination lights “which can be controlled singularly or in tandem”, allowing the driver to see more clearly than with ordinary headlights. When used with the “night shades” attached to Speed’s helmet, his vision is enhanced with infrared light. The original Japanese version strictly translates this as “illuminating eyes”.
Button E was later modified to activate mini-wings that would slide out from under the car to assist Speed in long jumps.
Button F (Frogger mode): Used when the Mach 5 is submerged. An oxygen canister supplies the cockpit with breathable air. A periscope can then be raised to scan the surface of the water. Everything viewed is relayed to a video screen inside the Mach 5’s cockpit.
Button G (Gizmo Rocket): Releases a flying, gull-shaped “homing robot” from under the hood of the car.
Button H (Home): Mounted in the center console with the rest of the controls for the homing robot, this button sends the homing robot back to the Racer house.
The Mach 5 in 1967 and 2008:

2008 version of the Mach 5.
I wonder if the new Mach 5 has air bags and GPS.
