Frank J aka: blogzilla~

What can I say? I am 46 years young and living life at about 50% capacity. Born and raised in New York. I lived in New York for 41 years and worked in New York City for 17 years. I moved to Las Vegas in 2003 due to 9/11, that’s whole different chapter. I now reside outside of Chicago in the suburbs. I recently moved here on August of 2007 and love it! It’s like a little New York. We actually have Pro Sports! I am now going to be cheering on the Cubbies! You have to love the Cubs.

My interests: I am passionate about technology from the first time I fixed my dads stereo in 1978. I moved on to so many different verticals in technology from IT Management, Project Management, Change Control, and Development. I first connected to the internet in 1991 and really was hooked. In 1994 I really dove into development, that included web design, imaging, hosting and PHP implementation. I was successful in creating and developing one of the largest gaming web sites on the internet in1999. This web site received more than 25 million page views per month and a fan base of more than 10,000. My friends and the people who I once worked with, would call me a “bully living in a techie world”. I have no problem with that.

Other Interests: Helping people is probably the most rewarding for me. I never ask for anything in return unless it’s offered. I love fishing, baseball, big Yankees fan! and love music, especially 60’s and 70’s Rock. I am also a huge Joe Satriani fan.

Greatest accomplishment: My physical being. I once weighed 255 pounds October 2001 and by June of 2002 I lost over 100lbs. I worked out 7 days a week 2 hours a day. I was addicted. Today I weigh 167 and feel really good about me, though I can be a lot more active.

    Wow, you sound really inspirational. I like the way you write. Don’t sound like a ‘bully’ to me but I guess you have to have a bit of the b in you to want to succeed at things, like a successful blog. Helpful posts to novices like me. Maybe you could drop by my long one decade or so and try not to laugh…..all the best I will keep reading…

    Your start in the internet world, game programming..etc is somewhat just like I started since 4 years till now ;)
    Amazingly enough, my real adventure on the net kick started when I had to fix the pc of my dad also :) .. and it took a new dimension when I started my IT course and now even taking a whole new dimension..

    I always like reading About pages from fellow bloggers, it inspires me to better my work and to study more my niche. I’m very glad you were able to loose weight. Why’d you move out of New York? It’s my dream to live there.
